Judge Michael Ian Bender is an experienced litigator serving us as Circuit Judge of Cook County, Illinois, Ninth Subcircuit. Judge Bender is a lifetime resident of our 9th Subcircuit, having resided in the City of Chicago, the Evanston School District, and the Villages of Lincolnwood, Skokie, and Wilmette.
The Chicago Bar Association's Judicial Evaluation Committee found as follows:
"Michael I. Bender is 'Qualified' for the office of Circuit Court Judge. Mr. Bender was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 1991. Mr. Bender is knowledgeable, hardworking, diligent, and dedicated to public service. Mr. Bender possesses the requisite qualifications to serve as a Circuit Court Judge."
